Iris
The iris is a mysterious and magical flower. It has a special colour palette with colours not often seen in other flowers. It is therefore named after the goddess of the rainbow. You can recognise the iris mainly by its many beautiful shades of blue, a colour you never really see in cut flowers. Furthermore, the flower has three petals that open completely so that you can look straight into the heart of the iris. The iris owes its name to the goddess of the rainbow, because of the number of colours of the rainbow in which it appears.
