Chrysanthemum

A big plus of the chrysanthemum is that this flower is available all year round! Chrysanthemums come in many varieties. From a spiky bulb to a fluffy variety (less leaf, more flower), a small- and large-flowered chrysanthemum, the santini with its special inflorescence where the flowers are branched on the stem. And then there is the classic spray chrysanthemum. The flower size of a chrysanthemum ranges from one to 14 cm.

You would almost forget that the chrysanthemum is originally yellow; in fact, it is now available in an unprecedentedly wide range of colours. In spring and summer in yellow, pink, lilac and lime green, in autumn in warm red and autumn brown tones and in winter in white and deep pink.
